A Red Romance
The flame of the candle flickers slightly,
as he holds he hand ever so lightly.
From across the table, their faces glow,
only a fraction of their love do they show.
In a memory of when they first met,
it takes you back to a red sunset.
On the beach, that long summer's day,
it was the first time he looked her way.
Few years later, a husband and wife,
vowed together to spend their life
They are as happy as you can bet
thanks to that one summers day, a red sunset.
