"This is what it is, this is who I am
This is where I finally take my stand
I didn't wanna fall but I about to crawl
I met the one with two scarred hands"

-Newsboys, Born Again

We wear masks
Hiding our self away
From the reality of the world
We wear our masks of Indifference

We don't believe in ourselves
We've got so much to fear
Not noticing there's nothing left to fear
We wear our masks of Indifference

Our insecurities
Tend to take over
Our mind and soul
We wear our masks of Indifference

We become the followers
Not the leaders we were meant to be
Our weakness hidden behind make-up
We wear our masks of Indifference

Take off your masks of indifference

Nostalgia is a seductive liar.

So true.. most people feel this way. Sometimes I feel that we get so good at pretending that we no longer have to pretend.
