The Teacher

The teacher taught me
what I could not comprehend on my own
"Some lessons", she said
"you have to experience alone."
The world works in wondrous ways
and different lessons are learned
each and every day
She'd help me accomplish
the perplexing puzzle of problems
And sometimes I'd have to search
for solutions to solve them.
For this, I'd have to thank her,
everything she put me through
was all in my best interest.
I owed her for everything I knew.
