"You can tell by the way she drinks her soda pop that she's a good dancer" -- cool foriegn dude (Oscar Nuñez/ Ramone) in the Proposal :)

"In Soviet Russia drum bangs you" ----MEEE :)

You keep yourself locked in your room
With the radio blasted loud
You think the world is against you
You're everything but proud

You've always wanted to be popular
But everyone thinks you're lame
You would give up everything you own
For just one day of fame

You stay home alone on weekends
With your phone powered down
You think you have no friends
You think that you're a clown

You think that no one likes you
You think that you are gone
From this world of sanity
I think that you are wrong

I think that you're amazing
In every little way
When you walk into the room
You like up my whole day

I think that you are pretty
You are my best friend
Why cant you understand
That I'll love you 'til the end?

Adrienne's right--it's got a musical rhythm that really catches the ear. I like that you didn't give into the subject's depression and kept it light. Keep up the good work!

I write because it silences the voices in my head.

Cute.  Reads like a song.  I have to say I was waiting for this to touch something more serious, but the flow of the writing does suggest the direction of the subject matter.  Also, I'm not sure if you meant to say "you like up my whole day" or you "light" up my whole day, but the interesting thing is that 'like up' is kind of a neat phrase.
