Stronger

You thought this would be hard for me
But now it's time for you to see
That I won't be broken apart
Nothing touches this hard heart
You thought that you could wear me down
But it is I who wears the crown
I am stronger than I look
You can't read me like your books
Maybe there is more to this
And you won't always get your wish
Bring hell or water high above
Nothing done will make me love
I don't have to care for you
Gaps are left where I slip through
I am stronger when alone
And I will always be my own
