diasies
in a field of daisies
 resurfacing only to dance
 under the shining sun
 your rays stretch
to caress every inch of me
i feel your warmth on my skin
 the sweeping wind
 stealing me
 away from you
 yet i dare not go
 i dare not venture
from your protective arms shielding me from
 the storm
 that is sure to come
 and when it passes
 the morning dew
 will kiss my skin
 washing away the past
 as you dry my tears
 making everything anew
