He Has A Heart Too
Little girl, little girl, don’t you be fooled
My son, yes my son,
He has a heart too.
Whenever you feel that you’re all too alone
Think of my son, lying at home
With a tear streaked face
And a hole in his wall
Where he placed his fist
After taking your call.
Do not be tricked by the lies you’ve been told
That boys are so strong,
So daring and bold
That they do not cry when things go wrong
Or sigh all day and all night long
Or call to his mom in the dead of night
When pure heartache has him wound up tight.
He seems to have lost faith in love,
It’s true
My son, yes my son, he has a heart too.
