A bold and broken bow
After a true and torn performance
A flower plucked from a fire
A diamond in a pile of dust
A daring and darling dance
A pitied and proud performer
A tear of joy and sorrow
Mourning and marvelous music
On a shaky and stable stage
Slippers of support and sores
Cowardly and courageous curls in her hair
Pretty and pathetic pink on her lips
She twirls with strong legs and a cracked core
For her beloved audience is no more.

No matter how hard you're hit, you can either wallow and whine or remain proud and shine.
