The Smile
I walk down the street.
As I walk I see a smile,
The most beautiful smile.
Then I hear a laugh,
It is music to my ears.
Then I see her eyes,
They are so gentle and kind.
Then I see her face,
Alone each part is stunning
but together they are perfect.
She looks like
Something from a dream.
I start walking towards her
Then I see it,
As she flicks her hair
With her delicate hand,
A ring. Not any ring.
A wedding ring.
This woman so perfect
So delicate and beautiful
Was already taken.
No one else could have her.
I couldn't have her.
