Your help comes out as lies
Twisted rotten roots
Absorbing whatever nutrients I may bring to this earth

If you took a step back
Fell into my mind
If you had a thought worth listening to
I'm not hearing it

They have me skewered over a fire
If they ever find out the truth
They'd go over as well;
Following the cries of the fallen
Releasing their lies like pollen

Hey man, it's been a while, huh?  xD

You have a very good way of describing the emotions being felt here.  It's different from a lot of your other poems.  I'm not so crazy about the last line though..  I think you could have had a better word choice for that one, and the rhyme doesn't quite fit right there.
