Savior
I stare at the man, being beaten
Pushed to the ground and downtrodden,
His ragged clothes mud sodden,
His eyes closed in pain,
For a moment I feel I should abstain,
Then those dear eyes look upon me,
And I finally see-
Sobs tear through my chest,
My true faith repressed,
Flinging myself down,
I feel the thorns of his crown,
I weep beside my Lord,
Who in Heavenly majesty is adorned.
