"you live what you've learned." -linkin park

look around
what do you see
is it safe
safe for me
i may be daring
i may be dangerous
but one thing I'm not
is curious
what ever goes on
i don't really care
i just sit at home
brushing my hair
i laugh my head off
while watching t.v.
the news channel sucks
its so boring
i watch sponge bob
like a boss
and eat noodle soup
and take my top off
the phone rings
while I'm taking a poop
my life is carefree
i have all i want
so who needs mystery
i definitely don't
so as i go to bed
and turn out the light
i smile to myself
and say
oh, my wonderful life:)

“I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.”

This poem...although simple, has a definite young soul, singing her hearts out for all to hear and dance along. This poem, has the soul of a child, when i read it...i return to who i was years ago, once a dreamer, now a doubter. Why is this? Read my own writings my friend and you'll see why, my language is...very different from these poems you have. This poem, i the simplest expression of youth I've come across now. Although, expand your vocabs will help, as it will color your taste further. Your poem have a taylor swiift, country feeling to it somehow, call me odd, but it does.
