it heals my wounds and sorrows

when i step my foot inside the doorway i let go of all "outside things" , i take off the coat of attitude and put on the the coat of security, faith, and hope

this room is security....
once i shut my door, my troubles are gone...... nothing is able to get me

this room is freedom .....
hanging upon my wall are keys to my shackles..... but sometimes i don't take all of them off...... but still

this room has healing powers.......
healing the powers that fill holes in hearts
healing powers that love the unlovable
healing powers that quench a thirst and satisfy a hunger.....

im telling you this room has healing powers.....

powers that are not visible to the
human eye, powers that block off the world, powers that doctor my wounds .......

i guess the only malignant thing that haunts me in this magical room is the....... mirror

looking at me.... showing me all my flaws and impurities.......
instead of seeing life and light, i see darkness and death .....

that white rim, not co-ordinating with the rest of the hardwood furniture..... with some type of metallic aluminum that reflects my brown image giving me grief and shame..... not shame for the world beyond the closed door but shame for myself....

but besides that........
this room has healing powers ......
this room is magic.... like a fairy

it waves its wand upon my forehead, and sprinkles its fairy dust upon my body... from head to toe, and then i fly...... i fly right into the comfort of my cloud, my heavenly cloud and there i get revived, rejuvenated, restored ....

this room has healing powers
powers that are able to sweeten
a situation and love me in spite..... it gives me statements that i know isnt true but i still take it because it makes me FEEL GOOD

this room has healing powers.....
powers that hide the truth and provide me with visions of " beauty " to compromise my emotions......

you might think im crazy but

powers that give life to a situation
powers that love
powers that secure
powers that comfort
