Lying on the floor in this empty room
Sound waves creep in to my empty mental tomb
Light seeps in brightening this impending doom
Shadows envelop me within their endless gloom

Trapped forever here alone
Do I dare traverse the unknown?
Oh the wonders that lie within the uncharted zone
An eternity's worth of secrets never intended to be shown

I venture out in to the darkness
My soul tears away from that hollow
carcass
As if I wasn't already heartless
Continuously reassuring myself this journey is harmless

I cant determine exactly what to feel
Release all that is or ever was defined as real
Holding tight to the pieces of me reality will soon steal
I wait and wait as these wounds slowly heal
