Knuckles white with words
Trapped by the tongue
Bursting into a silent scream
Unheard and untouched by the listener’s ear
Cold to the heart and heat to the soul
Twisting in to surround it’s own breath
Syllables stuck in the minds eye
Catching on thorns of unwanted thoughts
Opinions pressing down into crevices
Sealing off all reason and hiding all stars
Until only darkness surrounds the broken word
Dangling from the lips of a glass smile

Beautiful! Imagery was amazing, and it's something new to the writing word. Loved every second of it. Please read, rate, and comment on my poems! Thanks!
