Tears spilt on an empty page
Born from the frustration of
Not knowing what to write
Or knowing
But not wanting to address
The specific topics that come to mind
Because they are so close
So real
That no matter what I say
They will sting
From the page to the pen
Traveling up my arm to my heart
Where they, the words burry themselves into my heart tissue
and make themselves known
Tears spilt on an empty page
In ignorance of what relief the
Sting of words will bring
