Droplets of Agony
I need a pool to float in,
 an ocean to sink in.
 I need an anchor to
 keep me still.
 I need a lifeline to
 keep me from drowning.
I need the tears to cease
and the worries to wash away.
I need the me from the past
to swim up for air and kill
the sadness that swirls in my chest.
I need the me of today
 to survive.
 So I will
 survive.
