Tick Tock
I can hold back the tears
But I've been on the edge for a while.
I know I tripped a few times,
But I stumble mile after mile.
So I bury the secrets
Where no one can find them.
They're so sickening and shameful
Satan would consider me a part of him.
The clock keeps taunting with its tick,
My time is running out so quick.
Where is everyone,
I don't have much time left to go.
The lies are beginning to spill out,
And my disgrace is starting to show.
I won't keep their time,
I just have a few things to say.
These secrets are lies,
And I can't stand another day.
My time is running thin,
The devil starts to grin.
I can't dig them back up,
I buried the secrets too deep.
Where does a sinner like me
Deserve a place to weep?
I lose worry in the clock,
The ticking begins to fade.
I replace the worry with bitterness,
The last decision to be made.
Tick tock on the clock,
The clock forgot to stop.
