Clutching the sky but falling away.
Causing a riot but saving the day.
Needing a friend but finding an enemy.
Knowing the truth but telling all lies.
Wanting to live but finding it easier to die.
Loving someone but hurting them anyway.

Understanding so much but keeping so quiet.
Feeling something but never expressing it.
Giving your all but having it all slip away.

Trying again and again but always failing.
Doing only right but being proven wrong.
Keeping in your feelings but getting in trouble anyways.
Being so nice but never really caring.
Crying so much but still feeling pain.
Believing in love but having it taken away.
