The Deceptive Sunrise
That’s why it hurts
Because it sees
Our soul it feels
Every pain around
Each tear
Creates a sound
And it echoes inside
Again and again
Until we have lost all that was then
We try to make it go away
So we could live
We try to brighten up the days
And forgive
Forgive us
For the pained and useless soul
Who runs to escape
From what has been given
Shall we sit and suffer
Shall we lay and cry
What have we done
Oh what have we done
When can we finally cry?
We feel helpless
Help us
Where is the mercy
That they speak of
That we have learned
And then rejected-
Together
Because we felt the tears
Echo through our soul
And saw the black clouds
That the blind does not
The blind world- that smiles
At birds and giggles at the
Deceptive sunrise
Why have you given a gift
And then made it sad?
Our soul is a sad gift
A paradox of infinity
Are eternal scars worth the poetry?
I think not
We think not
Our soul
It feels
This has to stop.
