To Be, Tonight

Tonight I light every candle,
Happiness small yet many,
Every joy upon this night,
Even the moon shines tonight,
You've come to me,
Lit my darkness,
Surpassed the shade,
Proved my faith,
Just stay like this, forever and always,
I'll make the moment last,
For the sake of our eternity,
And leave my curtains open,
Never to hide from your gift,
Between two friends joy that drips,
No more rules, all is free,
All that ever was,
And all that ever shall be.
