Thoughts
Thoughts unwrought
words unsaid
for our love I fought
though quickly claimed dead.
Now we barely talk,
without bursting to tears,
as if the jock
could be with the one who screamed cheers.
It seemed like a fantasy,
too good to be true
and I cant picture me,
standing without you.
They called you a lier, a jerk,
called you a player,
their petty lies made me smirk
while saying I'd deal with you later.
They told you I was trouble,
told you I was mean,
hope you realize I'm double,
than this worlds' ever seen.
I'll take your heart,
if you take mine,
we'll each do our part,
and we'll be fine.
