no matter how much you wish

Trees don't grow to the sky

Wishing never got anyone anywhere
I can promise you that
No one on the top ever
sat around waiting for
seeds to sprout

Trees don't from to the sky
God doesn't exist
and the hero rarely wins
no matter how happy
it would make you

to have her back
