Best Friends Forever
Best Friends Forever.
Man, that phrase has changed since we were little.
Used to,
it was slumber parties,
and play dates.
Used to it was fun on rainy days.
Now, it's laughter through our pain,
being there,
even if we don't know what's wrong with us yet.
Used to it was vacations together,
sitting together at lunch,
and telling all of our little kid secrets.
Now it's keeping your cool,
even when you think your right.
It's hanging in there for her,
cause you're all she's got.
Being best friends was a lot easier when we were five.
