The Voices
Your voice,
it's there.
Breaking me down,
tearing me apart,
waiting for me to fall and burn.
His voice,
is there,
helping me up again,
telling me it's ok,
watching my back.
Your voice,
it's there,
screaming,
about the screw up I am,
and the life I have to live because of it.
His voice,
is there,
softly saying,
power through,
you are who you make yourself to be.
Your voice,
is there,
making me cry,
making me wish I was never born,
wishing you'd leave me alone.
His voice,
is there,
telling me your wrong,
letting me scream at him for no reason,
then looking at me with no hard feelings.
Your voice is gone.
His isn't.
I'm finished listening to you.
Because your wrong,
He may not be right,
but your not either
and he's a better person then you'll ever be.
