Through Our Eyes

Oh what hope could be seen
If you could only look through our eyes
And view the world from the eyes of a teenager
A cynic perhaps
But one bet on changing the world
On making a difference
A teenager who can still see the innocence of childhood
But has somehow able to gather the views of an intellectual adult
Although known to zip through life
Rushing towards adulthood
I stand here in disbelief
Wondering why we race
For when is life riper for the taking than now?
