The solid grey bars cold and hard,
the same routine every single day
the horrible nightmares that never go away
the ache that desires "home"
and the feeling of being alone
the tiredness you feel in your body from lack of sleep
and the hunger from lack of meat
all your emotions are taking a big toll on you
and being locked up all day with nothing to do
while people are living their life's not really appreciating them
I'm stuck in here begging for peace
trying to find Jesus
begging for another chance!
while behind the big cement walls
people are in another world not appreciating the little things we prisoners love
like letters,or family pictures
this world is not far from earth but everything is different like the sky,or the simple wind every detail is different from behind the walls, out of the walls the sky is more beautiful ,the sun shines BRIGHTER,the wind smells like freedom but inside the walls the brightness don't exist the wind teases you with a sense of freedom and the sky just seems to be filled with rain clouds
i keep the faith that one day i'll get out but only for my families sake
but honestly this world is hard to escape
This world is not known as heaven maybe its known as hell
but in reality this world is known as prison!........
