Flashlights flicker and my pizza is getting cold.
And I have you.
Our eyes meet across the little kitchen table and I smile with a mouth full of food.
We talk about everything there is.
We both laugh at the same time, faces red and happy.
No electric in the house today, all the electric is
In you
My sweater is orange and I am terrible at making people like me.
But thank God you are not people. You are something else.
I have everything I’ve ever wanted. Every day of my life is perfect
With you
Life is mean and hard and pushes you into the scary caverns.
But we’ll pull each other back up.
Forever and ever I want to be
With you
