We play soccer
I am sweeper
The ball is close
To our opponent’s goal
Someone kicks
And it comes towards me at half field
Fast
Hard
I kick
With all my might
The ball flies
Over heads and open mouths
It heads straight
Towards the goal
The keeper stands
In ready position
The ball comes
Right to the keepers chest
She reaches
Out to catch it
I watch in horror
As she does
She bobbles
The ball
I smile
As the ball
Slides
Into the goal
That was
My first
Goal
