Have you ever tried to write poetry calm?
Like yoga meditation-type mellow?
No conflict,
Not happy nor sad,
Just baseline collected.
Have you ever written a poem in want
of emotion/
No smiles,
No tears,
No heart-warming verses,
Just flat words on a lined page.
Have you ever attempted to write a
poem with no inspiration?
No compass,
No map,
No destination,
Just drifting along a sea of thoughts.
Well? Have you?
