― Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Crime and Punishment

The gem dripped moon shone
Over the beggar's kindness.
She who was alone.

Wiping tears away
With flowers that have seen much
Her sad eyes will dry.

The words will hold true.
Despite wind we are warm now.
Snow melts at your grin.

Bitterness took us
But by the light of the moon,
I saw and I knew.
