Storm of Deceit
Hard to sleep when waves of hatred are rolling over me.
Wish that all of your wrongdoings would bead up on my skin and slide off into the non-existent.
Instead I bob in the flood of emotional turmoil. Up down, up down.
Ponder, dwell, and torture... thoughts rumble through.
The eye opening revelations strike like bright bolts of lightning.
Sweet memories are now spoiled like sour milk.
Putrid and vile, If only I could vomit them out of my mind.
But instead they stink up my mind and corrode my heart with the abrasive acid that they seep.
It burns from the inside out.
My heart bubbling and oozing with the repugnant secretion that was my love for you.
