Inside this small puddle
Lies a bit of muddle
Into the rain I see it
In the rain I am, so be it
On me my clothes are soaked
With what I need to say
Off my chest the truth be told
But only for today
Into that puddle you peer and peer
Inside that muddle my truth is not so clear
Out of me come words so deep
Away from me you go forever
With my words for you to keep.
Away from me you go forever.
With my words for you to keep.

This piece was written in a time when I was heart-broken as I still may admit. It describes the girl whom I wrote this in mind of, peering into a puddle in which I put the truth, except it's murky and unclear. I am just so burdened with all of my truth, i lay it all down there and when she finally sees it, she leaves forever with the words I gave her.
