Clown Syndrome
I have so little, but
need not that.
With nothing to smile about,
I smile.
As the world is against
me with its fire,
every hope diminished,
I hope.
Here my mother, the
saint from below,
loves me destroyed,
I love.
With my life in ruins
and my wits in half,
my laughter my elixir,
I’ll laugh and I’ll laugh.
