My Most Precious Sin
Facebook is the Devil
I see rock slides of news, where I'm an unmovable pebble.
Couples with their dorky and freely stated hearts and "I love you"s
Where my only companion is my rouse.
You see, I'm hiding.
Hiding from the truth in a shroud built by lying.
Here in shade, I can see your glowing, free face
I see it through the shuttered door of my closet
I see it, oh so glowing in perfection; my heart starts to race.
I though them sealed, forgotten, but in that sight, I lost it.
The flood gates open, and the tears start
Couples in their privy, with their pages of clart
The perfect way your jaw curves
The perfect way your hair falls
The perfect way your eyes rest; it's an art
The perfect way you stomp on my heart.
