Hope or Impossibilty

I let go of it,
My hand drops slowly to the side of my hip,
I tilt my head up,
Watching as it floats into foreign skies
It floats into a galaxy beyond by perspective
Why did you let go of something you once held tightly onto?
The answer is simple,
But complex
Why did you let all those memories fade?
Like they meant nothing to you
You didn’t have to abandon me,
Leaving me left to sail away,
I reach for you,
But you urge to push me,
Farther,
And farther away
