No light to guide me
Where in the world is the light?!
The one that leads me to the right path.
How will I know where I stand if I can't see?
Blinded by peer pressure and "fitting in"
Hearing the laughter grow louder and louder as I get closer
Should I just turn around?
Or face what's about to appear?
Whatever happens I musn't blame anyone but myself
For I am the decision maker in this life
I hold my head up high!
Not in the dirt!
Maybe.
Just maybe.
That light I'm looking for just doesn't want to be found
Could be a sign
Like a unwanted friend request on facebook
I must decline
I need to choose my own path
I am my own leader
So I turn around and smile as the darkness frowned
I won and it failed the test of trickery
