Starting life
Small, new, insignificant
poking a tiny head
up into
the sun
Hopefully
opening
slowly
trembling with the wind
Hearing sounds of happiness
it silently makes a
promise
New ideas
grow into tender leaves
that become beautiful
foliage
Surrounded
with laughter, and voices
it soaks in
everything
Flexible
twisted by the slightest
change
protected from all
Different yet similar
all the same
planting a the seed
of life
