A long cold day

Sitting in class
Waiting for the day to end
The minutes tick my
Not nearly fast enough
Waiting for another day to end
He left
Without a true goodbye
And now I wait for the day to end
Two months have gone by today would be seven months
But he left
So I’ll wait until
Until the day is not so cold
