My Sailor

My sailor went away for a while
When I think of forgetting, I can not
For all I ever do is look out at the deep grey sea
And I wonder, "Is he thinking of me?"
I look out the window all dreary day long
But then, I got the news
The great beautiful news
My sailor is coming back
Back from his special place in the sea
He's coming back just for me
