Pink Pool
You sit in your shallow, pink pool
The water washes away your troubles
Not like you have any
The water reflects your
Innocence and carelessness
As you grow, the reflection changes
And every day you change a bit as well
Like how that pink pool faded
And chipped away
It was hurt by both the light
And dark of the world
You were strengthened by both
The water dried up
Like your childhood
Went back to the sky
Waiting for another host
A never ending cycle, like you
