Glass House
I am in a glass house
Protected from the world
I am safe inside
It's all I know.
Someone shatter the glass
and take me alive
Let me know I can feel
Let me know I can die
The pain I've endured
Even when I was "safe"
I inflicted upon myself
Let me learn from my mistakes
Now take this pain
Away from me
Tell me that now
I can finally breath
I can move my hands
They are free from glass chains
Take me in
Hold me in your forgiving embrace
I am a glass house
So easily shattered
But I do not get weaker
I can now become stronger
I will slowly change
From glass to steel
And once something cracks me enough
And the glass suit falls off
You will see how strong I have become
When my steel armor is shown
I was in a glass house
Protected from the world
Supposedly safe
It was all I ever knew
