The moon rises when the sun sets
The bully takes what the boy gets
The woman's afraid of the mans threats
It's just that simple.
The flowers die when winter hits
The vase falls and breaks to bits
The man gets old and loses his whits
It's just that simple.
The boy's smile makes the girl's heart ache
The people run when the ground starts to shake
The girl's scared when the dad's sanity breaks
It's just that simple.
