Life in a Snapshot.
Listening to the lovely laughter of my loyal boys
Sitting upon my brother as the princess of the wood floor
Dad pulling us along
Fast moving train of bodies
Energy surging through us
Mom not far behind yelling, “don’t get hurt!”
Trying not to topple over
While the boys are on the floor I sit superior to them
The treacherous toughness of our tummies
Smelling the stench of sweaty feet.
I sit starring at the still moment before my eyes
I realize the importance of families despite their lies
The small 4X6 sits before me,
Amongst the paper it holds the love, hurt, and sadness of life.
