I walk in fear

When I know I shouldn't

I'm safely held in the hands of God

But sometimes I think he gets mad at me

I've had alot of things happen

In the 15 years of my life so far

I got taken away from my mom

My dad died from cancer when i was 9

I've been mistreated so many times

By so many different people

But i strongly believe that

All of this has happened for a reason

I know all the horrifying events

Have made me a much stronger woman

Then i would've been if they never have happened.

Getting taken away from my mom

When i was just so young

That has made me have a much stronger relationship

With her because of all the time

We have spent apart from each other

But i believe that God is gonna

Get us back together one day

And were gonna have

The mother-daughter bond we once wanted.

My dad dieing of cancer when i was 9

Was the worst (and still is) thing

That could ever happen in my whole life

I was the biggest daddy's girl

And I was always so close to him

But when he died, I soon realized

That it made me alot stronger

to have to grow up with no dad in my life

Watching everyone be so close

And have so much fun with their dad

Just makes me stronger.

All the people that have mistreated me

Bullied, and picked on me

Put me down and told me that

I'd never be anything in life

Have made me stronger as well

When ever they told me I couldnt do something

It gave me the strength to prove them wrong

I havent always proved them wrong but

Every once ina while I do

And it makes me feel so great

To see the shocked faces

When i tell them that i proved them wrong.

There is several more tragic events

That have go on in my life

But i'd be here all day if i named them all

So i told you my main ones

These events most likely made me

The person i am today

They have made me stronger

And made me realize so many different things

So i guess the saying "everything happens for a reason"

Is actually a true statement.
