You Can't Force The Sun to Shine
Alone
Strange isn’t it
The smiles are fake
The laugh is dry
The words are empty
I’m not good
I’m not fine
I’m not even happy
I’m angry, sad, and lonely
I see the faces
I see the other smiles
I notice the other laughs
But they fuzzle out
Before they reach me
I question
I wonder
I want answers
But they don’t come
I want to believe
I don’t want this rain cloud over me
But it stays
Even when the rainbow comes
The droplets are still there
The sun just won’t come
You can’t force the sun the shine
I light a few candles but there no equivalent
You can’t force the sun to shine
