I love you
“We’re just friends”

Why must you do that?

You treat it like a game
You must think I like it too

As if I’m a pawn you use again and again

I say “I’m done with his games”
But my heart isn’t in it

And somehow you always know it

You confused me
You lied to me

I was a pawn once more

I’ve got to stay away from you
If I don’t, I’ll be stuck in a loop

A never-ending game I love and hate
