Marilyn's Theme
You pray to Mary, I pray to Marilyn.
She comes and goes like the night.

Her beauty is gone, she is nothing but a lonely soul.
Not strong enough to suffice, or take any form.
I ask her to haunt me.
I give her permission to take my soul.
I beg her to possess me.
She comes and goes like the night.

My eyes go wide and my body shivers as the room grows cold.
I see a black shadow on my ceiling that never moves.
She comes and goes like the night.

I sold my soul to Hollywood, I sold my body for fame.
I wasted my mind and I wasted my youth on a woman who would never stay.
I'm not sure if I was crazy, but Marilyn was there.
I could almost smell her perfume.
But she came, and she left, just like the night.
