Tradition
Tradition!
A word of many contexts: TRADITION!
We hear it often throughout the day.
Tradition is who we are and often who we're meant to be.
They say its “untraditional” but how can it be?
It feels so right, but why untraditional?
In marriage and in religion tradition is there;
In all we say and what we do throughout the day.
Judaism is tradition and we all should keep
Tradition in how we eat and sleep.
Tradition in how we wake and pray.
We all see it and should keep it alive.
Tradition in society whether it's normal or not.
So I say CHANGE TRADITION, but we can't... because
Isn't that what tradition is? Keeping the flame alive?
So what is there left to do?
Make our own traditions, while preserving the ones that once were.
Because keeping the flame of the past is...
Our tradition.
