Nowhereland
The four of us landed here
Alone, yet together
We live apart, but whisper each other
"Where are you?" we ask of the other halves
"Have you yet jumped from the 11TH window?"
~ And so, we stride, in parallel circles
Traveling far, but ending up nowhere
Back to the starting point
Back where we came from:
The lovely dovely land of Nowhereland
"Follow the yellow brick road!" they warn
Breathe inside the stuffy box we built
We cannot handle the steam from your kettle
You are better. We know you know better
You don’t belong. Go away-
Back to the lovely dovely land of Nowhereland
"Who are we?"
Nobody knows, and we have forgotten
We don't recall the taste of our childhood candies
We can't remember our own faces
~ And so, we stride, in parallel circles
Traveling far, but ending up nowhere
Our past is erased but we need to remember
We do not like it here
We need to get back
To each other
To Nowhereland
The lovely dovely land of Nowhereland
We’re off to see the wizards. We are the wizards
And we just want to be at home, in Nowhereland
~ And so, we stride, in parallel circles
Traveling far, but ending up nowhere
Back to the sky, back to the stars, back to the clouds
~ To the lovely dovely land of Nowhereland
